TYPICAL FIN DESIGN: This is the most common type of tail fin and is used on probably 80% of all paddleboards. Offering the best of both types of fins, the tailfin shape is suitable for use in surf and generally calm water, especially for beginners. The advantage is that it blends swept back and upright with each other, and is considered an all-around fin. Available on a full range of paddleboards from cruising to surfing.

SPECIFICATIONS: Made of reinforced nylon material, the center fin has a depth of 9 inches and an overall base of 7 inches, while the small fin has a depth of 4.5 inches and an overall base of 6 inches. These fins are wear-resistant and durable. Please make sure to check the specification needed before you purchase.

EASY TO INSTALL: First, inflate your board and flip it upside down. Second, ensure the fin box slot is clean and free of sand and grit. Third, slide the fin into the fin box on the bottom of the board. Once the fin is slid completely into place, use the provided clip to lock the fin by sliding it through the hole. Make sure that the clip is fully seated before use. NOTE: The fin is not meant to be weight bearing; exercise caution around land.

BROAD COMPATIBILITY: The paddleboard 2+1 fins are suitable for Upwell inflatable paddle boards, Upwell kayak, and other brands of inflatable paddleboards, kayaks, or longboards which have the same specification of slide-in bases. (Base not included)
